I’ve been surfing this huge Terry Gilliam wave for quite some time now — truly one of my favourite directors. His dystopia’s, to me, are always well thought-out, meticulously painted veils that can be explored again and again…. every time I re-watch a Gilliam film I’m instantly transported to exactly where I want to be — smack in the middle of the mindless consumption, extreme poverty and excessive drug use dystopian life is so characteristic of.
